shells are the another form of global currency, the primarily pertain to cuties and also an extension of cutie system, shells are the only currency that can be listed as decimals.
shells are primarily for cuties, even as a non-cutie owner, you can always earn shells.
/bless user:@user is a common way to gift shells to any user you'd like. but, you can't gift to the same user twice in a day! not to worry this reset every day at 00:00 UTC, and also in addition to this you can see all users you've blessed in a day by using /blesslist.
/wish : available every day between 7:00pm - 4:59am UTC, use this command to wish upon a shell and receive shells. wish has a cooldown of 15 minutes globally.
/token buy item: shellgift : you can give your friend a shellgift(2.5 stars if their star meter is full) using 1 cutie token.
shell meter helps to keep a track of your shellgifts luck, this won't impact any other shell related command. /shell info
the more shellgift someone receives, the more their shell meter will go down. the lower their star meter is, the less they'll get out of a shellgift.
however, this meter resets every day at 00:00 UTC, meaning once this time hits, a person's shell meter will be back to 100%.
Shells can be redeem in /shell shop.

to buy an item from the shell shop, use /shell buy item:
/stars buy item:revival scroll - the revival scroll costs 60 shells and revives the last cutie you had with its name, breed, age, food, and activity classes fully restored. your newly revived cutie comes with 100 happiness and 7 days of lifetime.
/stars buy item:activity learning - for 25 stars, you can attempt to teach your cutie one of the 13 available activities (also described here), which gives access to a new command to run for your cutie. your first class is guaranteed to be learned, but the more classes your cutie knows, the chance of failure is high.
/stars buy item:heavenly magic - if your cutie is expiring in the next 12 hours and you'd like to keep it alive, you can sprinkle some heavenly magic to give it a little boost. it costs 15 shells and can add up to 60 happiness points and 5 additional days of lifetime. the less hours your cutie has, the more life it adds.
/stars buy item:cutie divider - costing 50 shells, you can get your cutie matching divider for your /balance. once you've bought it, the divider stays in your inventory forever, even if your cutie dies. you must have the corresponding cutie to buy the divider (eg, if you have solaris, you can buy the solaris divider but not the cloudia divider). premium users have access to all dividers during their membership, including a few additional/custom ones
